To ensure the authenticity and credibility of the work published, the journal enforces a strict policy against plagiarism. All contributors, reviewers, and editorial members are expected to adhere to these ethical guidelines.
The Journal invites submission of original and unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration by any other publication. Papers presenting innovative theoretical insights, empirical findings, or interdisciplinary research are welcome. All submissions are evaluated on the basis of the assessment criteria specified below:
Based on the overall assessment, the manuscript may be accepted, rejected, or returned with suggestions for revision.
The reviewers are supposed to study the manuscript in detail and address the following issues:
The reviewer has to provide comments in the manuscript. The comments must be divided into major and minor comments and must be supported with appropriate references from the literature. It must include whether the manuscript complies with the submission guidelines of the Journal.
Finally, the reviewer must not disclose his identity to ensure an impartial review process, and he must maintain a respectful and professional tone while giving the feedback.
The comments of the reviewer to the editor must include the reasoning behind the recommendation. He must note whether the shortcomings are serious (i.e., cannot be corrected and preclude publication) or addressable, and, if addressable, provide suggestions for improvement. He must also convey if he lacks expertise in the area specified in the manuscript. The comments sent to the editor must also include the comments sent to the author to ensure transparency. Ultimately, all ethical concerns (plagiarism, duplicate submission or publication) must be mentioned to the editor.
This Publication Ethics Policy is based on the principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (refer to COPE International standards for authors) and applies to authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the journal/publisher.
Manuscripts submitted to the Journal must be original and must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must properly acknowledge and cite all sources, including legislation, judicial decisions, books, articles, reports, websites, and other scholarly materials.
Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal. Manuscripts that substantially reproduce previously published work must not be submitted as original research without appropriate disclosure and justification.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their research. Fabrication, falsification, manipulation of evidence, misrepresentation of legal authorities, or deliberate distortion of research findings constitutes serious misconduct.
Authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence or other AI tools where such tools have materially contributed to the preparation, analysis, or presentation of the manuscript.
The editorial board must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as necessary. The editorial board must not disclose the identity of the author to the peer reviewer who is reviewing the author’s manuscript.
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest that may affect the objectivity or integrity of the publication process.
Editorial decisions shall be based primarily on the scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and quality of the manuscript. Decisions shall not be influenced by commercial interests, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, political considerations, or other inappropriate factors.
The Journal is committed to maintaining the integrity of the published scholarly record. Where a published article contains a significant error, the Journal may publish a correction or other appropriate notice.
Authors must ensure that they have the necessary rights and permissions for any third-party material reproduced in their manuscript. Copyright, licensing, and publication rights shall be governed by the Journal's stated copyright policy.
The Editorial Board is responsible for implementing this policy consistently and transparently. The Journal will periodically review its publication practices to ensure continued alignment with accepted standards of publication ethics and scholarly integrity.
